Rental Vehicles Policy
Ace Operate Solutions - Rental Vehicles Policy
Age Requirements
Renters should generally be between the ages of 25 and 80 years. Exceptions are possible for
individuals aged 21-25 who can provide valid proof of full-coverage auto insurance (collision
deductible $500 or less) transferable to our rental vehicles.
Driver's License
A valid, non-expired U.S. driver’s license is required for all rentals, valid through the duration of the rental agreement. Learner permits or licenses with restrictions are not eligible. International renters must show both their original country’s license and a valid international driver’s permit, clearly readable in English.
Payments Accepted
We accept major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, JCB, American Express, and Diners Club. Debit cards from major banks (Visa or MasterCard), connected to checking
accounts, are also acceptable. Prepaid cards, online-only, or virtual debit cards cannot be accepted. For more payment details, please contact our office directly.
Deposit Policy
Deposits typically include the rental cost plus an additional amount between $100 to $200,
dependent upon the vehicle selected and renter’s history. Renters holding out-of-state licenses must leave a $150 deposit. Reservations made without a major credit card or bank-issued debit card require confirmation by phone.
Additional Drivers/Underage Drivers
Additional authorized drivers incur a $10/day fee and must present a valid driver’s license at pickup. Underage drivers (21-25) have an additional fee of $15/day and require proof of valid full-coverage insurance.
Permitted Travel Areas
Rental vehicles may travel within North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, and Eastern
Tennessee. Please contact us prior to traveling outside these regions for special rates and
availability. Written authorization is necessary for extended travel.
Insurance Requirements
Please verify coverage details with your insurance provider before renting. Renters must carry verifiable liability insurance covering rental vehicles. Underage renters must show proof of comprehensive insurance (liability and collision). Commercial, business, or church rentals require a valid Certificate of Insurance or Accord form on file.
Fuel Policy
Vehicles must be returned with fuel levels identical to the levels at rental commencement. Refueling fees charged for lower fuel returns are priced at a premium over local gas prices.
Optional Equipment
Optional equipment such as child safety seats and towing hitch inserts are available for an extra charge. Please inquire regarding availability and rates.
One-Way Rentals and Vehicle Drop-off
Vehicles must be returned to our rental location during standard business hours. Returns or dropoffs at unauthorized locations incur additional fees, including vehicle recovery charges.
Tolls, Fees, and Violations
Renters are accountable for any tolls, parking violations, and traffic tickets obtained during the rental period. Penalties, fines, and an administrative fee will be charged directly to the renter. Our third-party toll service provider charges a daily fee of $7.95 plus toll expenses. Renters can avoid these fees by using their personal toll transponder.
